Ok where is the mud?

Ok! OK! I've got my raincoat. I've got my boots. Where IS the mud?

Rough-Legged Hawk.

This is just what it looks like. Some poor mouse or vole was in the wrong place at the wrong time. This hawk dove, fell, jumped or pounced on a small field mammal that was on the ground right in front of the post this hawk sat on.

Spring thaw, mud, kids and boots.

Enjoy!

Chlorophyll.

All of these photos were taken today. The bay is still ice covered but the forest is moving quickly to spring.

On the road. Rain and foggy. Drive-by photos.

With Billycreek as a guide these photos were true "drive-by shootings". The top two photos are of an eagles nest along MN Hwy 35W. Look close in the second photo you can see the eagle "peeking" over the top. Sorry it's a grainy out of focus photo but it's really enlarged so you can see the eagle. The bottom four photos are of a Red-tailed hawk in Ino Wisconsin. Had a great time in the cities with N & A. Thanks to all.

For Joe "the new guy". Great call!

As promised this was a great place to have breakfast. AND as promised no one went home hungry. Great food, good atmosphere and affordable. If you are in the Twin Cities MN go to Keys. University Avenue and Raymond.

Wood Duck(s).

Road trip photos. No I'm not in the middle of some large wildlife reserve. These photos were taken in a downtown park in Minneapolis.
