Progress on the waterfront tunnel access ramp and park. Other projects also progressing.

It's a long way down from street level.

View of new ramps looking East. I wonder what the grade is? 1 inch to the foot? I thought there was suppose to be flat rest platforms every 30 feet? ADA requirements?

    Is the handicap access to the tunnel completed yet?

    Not yet. The ramps and tunnel are connected from the Hwy 2 level. The upper level to Main Street is still under construction. But all considered it is looking great.

    I am sooooo happy to see the tunnel access being completed. It's long overdue.

    Also that picture of Beaser Ave brings back a lot of memories my newly-wed wife and I moved into an apartment on the corner of Beaser and Third in 1975. We drove by the apartment when we visited Ashland on July 4 and it hasn't changed one bit...it that good or bad?
