It's official. The sign is up. Ed Griffiths Pedestrian Pass

The sign over the lakeside entrance to the Ed Griffiths Pedestrian Pass.

The view from the east / west bike trail.

The view from the sidewalk over the Ed Griffiths Pedestrian Pass. The white back of the sign.

We like to think of this view as "Ed's View" of Lake Superior and Chequamegon Bay.

Here is the trail map showing the location of Ed's Pass.

Congratulations! What an honor for Ed. Wish he could have been there to see it.

Way late, but this is a good thing & will keep a great memory - Ed - alive for Ashlanders for a long, long time. & don't forget, Ed was who he was because of the two of you & the city owes you a thank you for raising him. Anyway, congrats & happy memories.

Awesome! We were in Ashland (dropping our daughter off for her sophomore @ Northland) and walked a ways through here... beautiful! Congratulations on the honor!
