Camp Clark then and now.

Thanks to PJ and his staff for their hospitality during my recent visit. PJ has provide me with a box of old photos and color slides from the Camp Clark era. I will be sorting, scanning and posting these photo up at this web site. I hope to attract former campers and their families. I would like to organize a reunion of old Camp Clark campers at Camp Lyndon. Please visit my Camp Clark web site.

This adult Bald Eagle was watching over a deer carcass along Hwy. 70 east of Fifield WI.

Right time right place with a camera within arms reach. It nice to get a chance to photograph some wildlife. It's been a long winter.

"All work and no play...." ? Not this weekend.

This bar and restaurant is on Highway 70 West of Woodruff/Minoqua WI.

A plaque on the bear in part read "This Black Bear boar ranks as the largest skull ever in Wisconsin. Shot in early June 1961 in Sayner, it weighted 669 lbs."

This is a great little bar and restaurant. The pizza, beer (34 kinds) and ambiance was great. The bar could be described as a sports bar. March Madness on the TVs. Hunting and fishing mounts on the walls. And of course Packer stuff everywhere.

Is that Bart Starr passing to a turkey?

Just once.... say on a 2 wt fly rod. What a fish!

Oh! did I mention the bar has entertainment. Including this guy and a Blues band last Saturday night.

Childhood memories revisited. Camp Clark.

Waterfront and swimming beach.

Flag pole and chow hall. I finally got to share this memory with my son Scott. I hope it's not the last time we spend time at Camp Clark. For more of these memories visit my Camp Clark blog site.

Same flag post and chow hall circa 1958. That's me front row 5th from the right.

The second cabin from the left. Is my first summer "home away from home cabin".

Fire ring.

Boathouse and swimming beach. I "helped build" this boat house. At least I help nail down the upper level floor.
