Three days here at home and slightly about. Went ice fishing today.

Very busy weekend on the bay. This grouping was a fishing outing for kids.

Ed with his spare time project.

They have restarted the dismantling of the oredock.

Notice the two backhoes on top of the oredock. They were lifted up on top with the crane and I'm told they will be removing the shoots from the east and west side.

Nineteen largemouth bass, nearly a dozen wood ticks, high eighty temps, one very busy cameraman and six hours of fun.

Yet another reason to spend time on this lake. Fishing, swimming and beautiful wildlife.

I'm sure glad we were off the lake and safely home when this storm passed through. Although the neighborhood damage was minimal regional damage was not. The Marengo Lake area had "hundreds" of trees down are wires across the road. Friends reportly decided to ride this one out in their basement.

Mosquitos be gone... Bug free camping.

We just received this screenroom via UPS. We have been waiting for 6 weeks (back order).

We just set it up to test out our vision of enclosing the camper under the screen room. Our hopes have been confirmed. There is plenty of room for the camper with room left for chairs and a small table for cooking and having meals.

We love camping but each year the mosquitos and Yellowjacket (and here) numbers seem to increase making it more and more difficult to enjoy the outdoor experience.

So let the mosquito/yellowjacket free camping begin.

No I don't fish everyday...but I did fish today.

Fished with family and friend. Slow going at second/first landing East of the breakwall. Moved to West side of the breakwall. Fishing still slow but productive. Caught perch, smelt, nice coho and...... some "pay back is hell".  More on that when the pay back arrives.....AND it will.

For now here is some of the catch.  Coho and perch.
