Things you don't see everyday.
Lay still stop moving.
Feed me mom...no... feed me first.
Don't cry over this.
Is this what the rapture looks like up close?

Time to vote. "What shall we call the fly?" .
UPDATE:
From my July 14, 2009 post.
It's time to vote.
The choices are clear.
The poll is set.
Take the poll right NOW so your voice is heard.

No voter fraud will be tolerated. :) Unless as specified below.
Management reserves the right to skew the numbers, alter the data or otherwise distort the counts to achieve our pre-determined result.
The polls are closed and after an overwhelming response the votes have been count and the results are: The little guy on top is the Hairy Fodder and it's big sister below is the DonnerFly.
Stay tuned: In production a cousin... described by the R&D department as... nearly white with features of the Hairy Fodder and the DonnerFly. Code name Jambie.

Early morning. Cooler weather. Trail riding companion.

This "character" followed me on my early morning sunrise ride.

Once or twice "he" insisted on taking the lead.

My advanced riding skills helped me stay in the lead most of the 12 mile ride. Occasionally "he" would make a valiant attempt to pass me but I would fight off the charge.

Near the end of the ride "he" managed to slip away and head toward the lake.
All in all it was a great ride. Temps in the high 60's very little traffic and my companion wasn't much of a conversationalist. Which suited me just fine.

New sidewalks. WET cement. One very curious youngster.

New sidewalks in the neighborhood means lot of trucks and other neat equipment and of course WET cement. Add to this mixture one VERY curious youngster and.........

...you end up with a cement covered curious youngster. Five minutes before this photo was taken this young guy was laying belly down in the new sidewalk cement. After the rescue by mom everyone including the cement workers had a great laugh.

Earlier in the day. Pull up a seat and watch the "wow! wow! WOW!" backhoe.

The big sister joins the vigil with her own front row seating.

Or as the day wears on you can just lean against a nearby tree and watch.

Until you get bored than you can try this.

Our favorite canine pet.

In addition we have a "favorite" feline pet. The feline pet doesn't much care for our canine pet so your not likely to see them both in the same picture without a little Photoshop magic.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This has all been made possible by YOU my loyal readers.
I just had to! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to "make the cover of Time".
Actually! this has all been made possible by Photoshop and a warped sense of humor.
I hope it made you smile.
