Lumnaries central.
These "volunteers" are finishing up the making of some of the hundreds of lumnaries needed to light the trail for the Book Across the Bay cross country ski event. Book Across the Bay is an annual event here in Ashland. I'm told this year 1500+ skiers will ski from Ashland to Washburn WI across Chequamegon Bay. It is and evening event hence the need for the lumnaries. I'm hoping to get some photos of this years event and will post them. By the way these "volunteers" are looking for VOLUNTEERS to take their place for next years lumnaries manufacturing event.
