Wow, we have so many of the same birds here as you do there. That Great Blue should come down here where his cousins are much warmer.What are the buds? I'm guessing pussy willows. Do I win a teddy bear?
The teddy bear is yours....they are pussy willows. Spring is not far off. One little side note. Pussy willows are the first "flower" that honey bees forage on (pollen) in the spring. The last is... That will have to wait until October.
