Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Area. Kestrels
Top photo a female Kestrel. Bottom photo (L) female and (R) male Kestrel. Photographed along Dike Road in the Horicon Marsh Area.
Your kestrels were down here all winter too. I saw them every morning sitting on the power lines and waiting for breakfast to appear somewhere, like on my privacy fence where lizards liked to sun themselves.
Your photos are like a timeout from the ugliness of the news. Thank you for that and for visiting Morning Martini.
