Northern Cardinals.
This is the first sighting of these cardinals. We have heard them in and around the neighborhood but this morning was the first time I got close enough to take some pictures. Think SPRING!.

Down here in sunshine world I have cardinals at my feeder every morning. We are slipping into spring so there are a lot of cardinal mating calls too.
we had a female in our lilac tree yesterday. she was all puffed up, trying to stay warm in the rain and snow. when will it be spring?!
