Proud parents category.

This photograph (which I did not take) shows a handcrafted metal door that was made in Boulder CO for a corporate client. Our oldest son was "instrumental" in it's construction. He has agreed to provide a brief description of the project via the comments section. His blog is Shapesmith checkout some of his art work. I like to say I taught him everything he knows but he has long ago surpassed those meager offerings. Great job son! A project to be proud of! Love Mom and Dad.

UPDATE: By request I am posting additional photos of the above project. These are photos that were emailed to me as the project progressed. I will leave it to Shapesmith to add additional details.

Sorry to walk into something so beautiful but I just have to tell you both that now you have me crying too. Having never had a good relationship with my own father, I envy what I see here so much. I'd say you guys have done a great job with your work and with your love for one another.

Can I please have another picture of the doors so I can see more detail? Thanks in advance is this is possible.

I don't have anymore photos of the door. If Shapesmith does I'll have him email me some and I will post them.
