Welcome sights.
This American Goldfinch spent a good part of the afternoon moving from feeder to feeder in our back yard.
Before they were at your feeder they were down here at mine.
I think you read my post a couple of weeks ago about my bird diary. I know appox when to expect them to drop in on their way home so I put out a special tube feeder for them with thistle inside. There have been years when I would have about a hundred of them hovering around and dining on the seeds all at one time. This year the most I saw at one time was only a couple of dozen.
