Ok where is the mud?
Ok! OK! I've got my raincoat. I've got my boots. Where IS the mud?

Bless her heart! This would be about the time she would announce that she needed to make a bathroom run. How long does it take to wrap these little ones in all those clothes?
Do you guys have "mud rooms". I have heard that some people have a little area by the door where the muddy stuff is left, is that true?

How did you know? She is heading to the bathroom with the proud grandparent slightly behind.
Oh yes mud rooms are very common it this part of the world.
There is a lot of red clay in this area that cakes itself to any footwear.
I'll post a photo of the bay after the spring thaw and run-off. Ugly!
I thought the darlings in the pics might be your gandkids... they're very lucky.

Nope all of the kids are kids from the local area that I see. This little girl's grandparents are friends of mine.
