Arachnid and Lilacs. Crab spider.
Look close for the white spider in the center of the photo.
Crab spiders named for long front legs which enable them to walk in four directions. Forwards, backwards and sideways. They hunt by waiting motionless and ambush insects that pass closely by. Crab spiders are often found on flowers but can also be seen on leaves and stems.
Man you are good with this close up stuff. I can't seem to be still enough to get it that clear. We're gonna need a faster camera here pretty soon.
Funny when Mr Pop gave me my camera xmas before last, I didn't even want it. I had never had a camera and didn't feel much of a need for one. Mr Pop had his 35mm and he did all the shooting. Once I started playing with my new little gadget it became fun. Now I'm like a picture taking idiot. An idiot with a camera isn't as dangerous as you might think, but they will shoot anything they see. :)
