Windy, cool and colorful day.
It was a windy and cool day today. The wind was blowing onshore so we were getting the "air conditioner effect" of the onshore breeze. At the beginning of the week we had temperatures in the high 80's today they were in the mid 50's. The bottom photo was a lucky shot. With the gusting winds along the shore it was amazing to me that this bee could manage to forage at all. The flower is Dame's Rocket it has 4 petals and is fragrant. Dame's Rocket looks like common garden Phlox which has 5 petals and is less fragrant.

Your pictures are so beautiful. Do you ever see bears up there?
No bears are QUITE RARE.
