Dia De Los Muertos. Day(s) of the Dead

A Mexican holiday honoring those who are gone but are not forgotten. Just attended our first (Nov 1) Day of the Dead celebration with lots of friends. Thanks to J & B for bringing this Mexican tradition to the north country. For a complete explanation of this holiday visit this website. Original art work by Mrs. ShutterWi.

How did Mrs. ShutterWi make this? Is it a needlepoint or hooked rug?

I like photos of the Halloween Dragon and Snow Queen mother.

This original artwork was given to us at our Los Dios de los Muertos celebration. It is, without a doubt, the finest gift we have ever received.

Since we started celebrating "Los Dios", we have collected bits and pieces, some bought, some given as gifts. This one will adorn the halls of Spadoman's castle all year long.

We can not begin to say thank you for your gift, your attendance at our celebration and your kind and generous friendship.
