Active feeder(s). Goldfinches galore.
These feeder are in a friends yard in the Marengo / Highbridge WI area. There were 100's of finches coming and going today. It's appears to be a fulltime job keeping the feeders full.
The goldfinches out here have been ravenous as well. I also found that they are more apt to use the heated birdbath. The chickadees and nuthatches must be more adapted to receiving water from the snow.
