01/13/2010. Ice fishing in Chequamegon Bay. 1.5 miles offshore. 1/2 a mile from the lighthouse. 30 feet of water below. 16" inches of ice underfoot....and truck. Sadly only 2 small fish on the ice. 62 and retired!
The sun was shining. The wind was light. Temperatures in low thirties. In my opinion a perfect day to ice fish.
